Young ladies and gentlemen ages 3-5-years-old, can join the Little Mr. and Miss Tillman County contest, scheduled for Sept. 7, 2023, at 7 p.m. Applications for the Little Mr. and Miss Tillman County contest are due by Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023, and must be turned into the Tillman County OSU Extension Office in the Tillman County Courthouse. The office is located on the bottom floor on the west side of the courthouse.

Space is limited to 16 contestants, the first eight boys and first eight girls who get their forms in by deadline. Applicants after the first 16 will be placed on a wait list in the order their application is received.

During the pageant, contestants will walk across the stage and model for the judges and the audience. The Emcee will have a brief chat with each contestant based on the information you provide on the application. Please do not coach or drill your children on their answers. Contestants should arrive dressed and ready for the pageant by 6:45 p.m.

Volunteers will provide supervision in the staging area while contestants are waiting to go onstage. Parents and family members are asked to refrain from conversing with the judges. The judges’ decisions are final, and all ballots are confidential and cannot be viewed by the contestants or their family. Anything you want to dress your child in is fine, just remember this is a County Fair.

Music is allowed for the talent portion but must be kept 2 minutes or shorter and must be given to officials ahead of time.
