On Nov. 24, 1932, the FBI Crime Lab opened for business in Washington D.C. The Lab, now known as the FBI Scientific Crime Detection Laboratory, initially operated out of a single room with a single full-time employee.

The Cameron University Foundation encourages supporters of Cameron University to participate in Giving Tuesday, a national day of giving. All gifts received that day will be earmarked for the Aggie Fund, which provides students with scholarships, provides faculty support and helps to enhance campus facilities to provide better learning opportunities.

The Cameron University Concert Choir and the Elgin Owl choirs will unite to “Celebrate the Music!”, an evening of holiday music. The free concert is slated for Thursday, November 30, at 7 p.m. and will take place at the Elgin High School Performing Arts Center, located at 520 K Street.
