Queen Bees t-ball team tournament champions

The team played in the Altus City League and finished with a record of 11-2 and are end of season tournament champions. Basketball hopes still alive

As of press time, the Lady Bombers and Bombers have completed round two of the OSSAA Class 3-A, Area IV Playoffs at Jones. After a couple of push backs and reschedules due to the Siberian like weather we experienced last week, the games commenced. Lady Bombers squared off against the Lady Indians of Little Axe in the consolation bracket. Due to an abrupt incident on ice, the head Lady Bomber coach was on the disabled list. Coach Collins injured reserve status left the team without his services. Coach April McClung stepped in and filled the lead role with Maurice “Mo” Walton assisting. The Lady Indians struggled extensively and the Bomber coeds sailed mightily and ended the Little Axe season with an 89-43 victory. more

Elite competition cheerleaders make AllStar World Championship

Competitive cheerleaders from Elite Sports Academy out of Vernon, Texas “brought it” recently at a cheerleading competition in Garland, Texas. Several members of Elite are local. They include Jaida Norris, Aundrea Vargo, Maelii Flores, Meadow Flores, Harlee Heard, Maddie Gillespie, Keyshawn Edwards, Harley Lewis, Cassidy McIlroy, Eva Martinez, and Lanee Coleman. more

Bombers Basketball playoffs coming up

The 2021-22 Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association (OSSAA) basketball play-offs are coming up. Frederick is in Class 3-A, District 4, and Area IV. Lady Bombers and Bombers basketball teams have their first face-off with the Lady Indians and Indians of Marietta. The games are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., Feb. 18, 2022, at the Bomber Hangar.  more
