Wilma Jean Baskett, 65, of Grandfield, Oklahoma, died Monday, June 7, 2010, in Grandfield, Oklahoma.

Funeral services was held Friday, June 11, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., at Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Morgan, pastor of Tesca Baptist Church, Frederick, Oklahoma, officiating.

Interment was in the Memorial Cemetery, Grandfield, under the direction of Gray Funeral Home, Grandfield, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Baskett was born December 9, 1944, in Checotah, Oklahoma, to Winford Aaron and Rhoda Elizabeth Howe Cummins. she grew up in Grandfield, She loved to sing karaoke. She was a hard worker and a loving mother. She married Bobby Joe Burke in 1965, in Vernon, Texas. She married Floyd Allen Baskett on December 13, 1969. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1987.

Survivors include, one daughter, Tammy Burke and Jesus Maldonado of Grandfield; one son Buddy Basket and Karen Ibarra of Grandfield; one sister, Claudell Stephens and husband John of Marietta, OK; three brothers, Henry Cummins and wife, Stella; James Carl Cummins and wife Sherry; Aaron Ray Cummins, all of Marietta, OK; seven grandchildren, Loranzo Rocha Jr., Ardmore, OK; Jesus B. Angel, Grandfield,OK; Whisper Nicole Burke, Ardmore, OK; Robert Dale Burke, Ardmore, OK; Ashanti James, Grandfield, OK; Jessica Lee Warren, Beaver City, NE; Buddy Allen Basket, Beaver City, NE;  one niece Malinda Stuckey and many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Otis Lee Cummins; one sister Wanda Sue Cummins and a nephew, Richard Stephens.
