Frederick police recover stolen items, arrest thieves

Frederick police officer Gary Parks responded to a Report of a burglary of the First Baptist church located at 201 E. Grand around Saturday at 9:44a.m..  The initial entry was through a broken window.  Stolen from the church were; 3-keyboards, microphones, cords and stands, a 360 X box and 3 controllers and an X-Box guitar.

The investigation of the majority of the police department personnel on Saturday resulted in a search warrant being issued and served on the residence at 915 S. 12th with stolen property being recovered there and at another residence west of Frederick on Highway 5.  

Arrested was Carla Scott (45) for Burglary, Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property and Contributing to a Commission of a Felony by a minor. She was transported to the Tillman County jail where she was incarcerated. A juvenile was detained and booked into the Tillman County jail and later transferred to a Detention Center by the Tillman County Sheriffs Office.  There were other juveniles questioned and released at this time involving the case.  There was other property recovered from previous incidents of burglaries from Frederick which the officers have made contact with most of the victims in those particular cases.
