The Tillman county Sheriff’s Department said they had been watching the horses Northeast of Frederick for about two weeks before investigators issued the search warrant Saturday.
Ron Jones 61 of Frederick was arrested for animal cruelty. The horses were taked to an animal rescue facility near Guthrie.
Jones was released on a two thousand dollar bond. He’ll be arranged early next week. Jones is facing animal cruelty charges.
