Graveside funeral service for Connie Ray Dodd, age 64, of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, formerly of Duncan, Oklahoma, was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2010, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Dr. Clankston Freeman officiating.

     Mrs. Dodd passed away Friday, February 12, 2010, in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Coyle and her mother, Mary Ellen Millhouse.

    She is survived by her husband of forty-four years:  Ronnie Dodd; two daughters:  Patricia and Larry Rowland of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee; Cheryl and Vinson Orr of Frederick, Oklahoma; one son:  James Dodd of Colorado;  two brothers:  Joe Coyle and Lee Millhouse, both of Chicago, Illinois; and four grandchildren:  Sam & Laura, of Tennessee and Brooke & Paige Orr, of Frederick, Oklahoma.

    Mrs. Dodd had a special saying, “Things happen like they are supposed to, God is in control.”  She attended Green Pond Baptist Church.  The light of her life was her grandchildren.  She loved both friends and family unconditionally.  She had a love for snow, music, enjoyed gardening, needlework, and  she was a skilled martial artist.
