The Frederick Arts Council is calling for entries in the first annual “Tableau of Tables” contest to be held from 4 to 6 pm at the Lois Long Center on Sunday Dec. 6, 2009. There is no fee to enter the contest, table settings may be for two or more, may have a theme (holiday, birthday etc) and can be anything from the fun and funky to the fabulous and fancy. Tables will be judged with first place receiving a catered dinner for two from simply delecTable. Second place winner will receive a candy bouquet and third place will receive a fruit and veggie bouquet. Tickets for the public will be available at the door for $3.00 each and will entitle them to vote for their favorite table. The table receiving the most votes will receive $20.00 in chamber bucks.“ Tableau of Tables” and Xi Alpha Chi’s “Tour of Homes” will provide a world of decorating ideas. Don’t miss these fun events.
