Frederick High School choir, band and student council honored vets for Veterans day along with Retired four-star Gen.Tommy Franks as guest speaker, he delivered a powerful message to the crowd, thanking all who had served past and present. Franks, a graduate of the Field Artillery Officer Candidate School at Fort Sill, was commander of US Central Command during the onset of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and received the Presidential Medal of Feedom in 2004. Just recently celebrating the grand opening of the General Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum in downtown Hobart.
