Sheriff Bobby Whittington states that 2 Vernon, Texas residents and a Davidson man are currently in the Tillman County Jail, for possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances. Sheriff Whittington said that the trio was arrested after his department responded to a disturbance call Tuesday, September 11th, Southwest of Frederick. “We received a report of a disturbance at a residence southwest of Frederick, in which the reporting party, was able to give us a vehicle description. Undersheriff Bryan Smith located the vehicle near Davidson, and conducted a traffic stop on it. During this stop, our canine, Maco, was deployed and indicated the presence of CDS in the vehicle” said Whittington. “Subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a large quantity of suspected marihuana and methamphetamine “ Whittington said.

Arrested and awaiting arraignment in the Tillman County District Court were: Timothy Pipes of Davidson, Teasie Scott of Vernon, and Robert Lopez, also of Vernon.
