The 1958 Frederick High School class will meet to renew friendships and break bread on Friday and Saturday, September 21-22.
The reunion will happen at the Gish Community Center, 126 N. Main. Starting at 5 PM on Friday, September 21, there will be snacks and some great story-telling.
Since we are all getting a little long in the tooth, we will shut down at 10 PM. But, bright and early (10 AM), we will resume the fun and fellowship at Gish’s. This time the fare is donuts and coffee. Lunch is “on your own” in Frederick. The chit-chat continues, abetted by more snacks, until banquet time arrives. Supper will set you back $25 a person, but it will be well worth it! We hope to have some surprises and special guests and relive some of the highlights of “Fifties in Frederick.”
Call Mary Ruth Childers McSwain (817) 563-1412 or Rosemary Dobson Wade (817) 460-6027 and let us know you want to come. There are several places you can rent a room if you need to. Frederick has a spiffy website. Check it out.
I swear this is going to be a blast, or my name ain’t Danny Griffin!
