Funeral service for William Thomas Brown, age 71, of Frederick will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the Nazarene Church in Dodson, Texas. Burial will follow in the Dodson Cemetery, Dodson, Texas under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick, Oklahoma. Mr. Brown passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at his home in Frederick.

William Thomas Brown was born on January 17, 1938 in Whitesboro, Texas to James Adrain and Camilla Elsie (Mills) Brown. He attended school in Loco, Texas. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to Joyce Ann Blevins on November 6, 1999 in Dodson, Texas. He owned and operated Tommy’s Used Cars and Salvage in the Dodson/Wellington Texas area.

He is survived by his wife: Joyce of the home; two sons: James Edward Brown and his wife Angie and David Michael Brown and his wife Diana all of Hollis; one daughter: Connie Acosta and her husband Johnny of Deer Park, Texas; two brothers: Clyde Edward Brown and his wife June of Duncan, and Harold Royce Brown and his wife Frances; four sisters: Helen Voncil Griggs of Whitney, Texas, Kay Frances Storey of Las Vegas, Nevada, Judy Eliane Jensen and her husband Charles of San Bernadino, California and Joyce Eileen Macintosh and her husband Dale of Las Vegas, Nevada; nineteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son: William Thomas "Tommy" Brown, Jr.; one grandson: William Thomas Brown, III; four brothers: James, Bobby, Grady and David Brown; and five sister: Mary Ann Brown, Rebecca, Brown, Linda Radke, Cathy Valles and Teresa Tripp.
