Mary Gonzalez was named 2009 Jr. Sweetheart Saturday night at the Frederick Fine Arts Auditorium, Gonzalez is the 13 year old daughter of Juan and Nancy Gonzalez. The pageant is sponsored by the Xi Alpha Chi Sorority. Kaley Patterson was named first runner up she is the 15 year old daughter of Jeff and Dana Patterson. Shelby Dyer was named 2nd runner up she is the 15 year old daughter of Greg and Crissy Reed.
