Funeral services for David Edward Billy, 53 of Frederick, were scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Rev. Tim Billy, Thomas First Baptist Church, pastor and brother, officiating.
David passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton.
Burial was scheduled in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.
He was born Nov. 13, 1964 in Lawton to Nicholes Watson Billy and Mary Belle (Fobb) Billy. He grew up and attended Frederick schools graduating with the Class of 1983. He worked as a farmer and wheat harvester. He enjoyed cook outs, dominoes and horseshoes. He was an avid OU football and softball fan as well as the Dallas Cowboys. After his niece attended Oklahoma State, he was known to wear OSU Cowboy gear and root for the black and orange.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters: John, Hazel, Aaron, Linda and Loretta Billy.
Survivors include two brothers: Tim Billy and wife Jennifer, of Thomas and Mark Billy and wife Lorie, of Frederick; nieces and nephews: Nichole Billy and Marcus Crowder, Miranda, Derick, Justin and wife Tricia, McKenzie, Camden, Myles and Tiana; great nieces and nephews: Jocelyn, Xander, Victory, Vivienne, Tristin, Kyra and Taylor; and a host of other extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
