Funeral services for Don Wilburn Lynch, 81 of Frederick, were scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Haverland officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Lynch passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 at Memorial Nursing Center in Frederick.

Don Wilburn Lynch was born on May 13, 1937 in Hollister to George Washington and Martha Helen (Kidwell) Lynch. He attended Hollister Public School. On May 23, 1958, Don was united in marriage to Margaret Ann Rector in Frederick. She preceded him in death on December 20, 2013. He worked for American Uricoptor in Grand Prairie, Texas until his retirement. He was a member of the 13th and Josephine Church of Christ.

He is survived by three daughters, Kayla Root and her husband Paul of Killeen, Texas, Kelly Shelton of Hurst, Texas and Kimberly Murray and her husband David of Arlington, Texas; one son, Kirk Lynch and his wife Julie of Arlington, Texas; one brother, Wayne Lynch and his wife Jean of Frederick; six grandchildren, Amber Jimenez and her husband Pablo, Jeffrey Lynch and his wife Kelly, Timothy Story and his wife Lacy, Cody Lynch, Billy Murray and Colton Lynch; five great-grandchildren, MaKayla and Liliana Jimenez, Raven Lynch, Devin Cummings, Alexis Story, Zayden Story; one great-great-grandson, River Lynch; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret Lynch; and two sisters, Pauline Horton and Carolyn Neely.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Don Lynch.

Visitation was set from 5 - 7 p.m. on Sunday evening, Oct. 28, 2018 at the funeral home.
