The Frederick Lady Bombers and Bombers competed at the state golf tournament, earning some individual honors. “The first day we had the jitters. The girls had a gallery, which is a crowd, following them and observing. We shot a four hundred and forty-six. It was the worst we had shot all year in a first round. The Frederick Lady Bombers golf team competed at regionals on April 24. “To get to state, a team has to get in the top six and we finished in the top six. The first nine holes was a disaster and I told the girls to buckle down, grind it out and see what happens. They did. The Frederick Bombers went to district playoffs on Thursday, April 26 with intentions of upsetting the Lindsay Leopards. In game one, Hunter Russell was the pitcher for the Bombers.
