Incumbent Frederick City Council member Eddie Whitworth has defeated challenger Chuck Akin…by one vote.
The final count, according to the Oklahoma Election Board, is Whitworth: 127 votes; Akin: 126 votes.
In Tipton, Marvin D. Huff will keep is seat on the Board of Trustees after defeating Alton Davis 153 to 61.
And Jed Lovejoy lost his bid for Town Treasurer to Doris Romines 164 to 49.
