Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Ms. Cunningham passed away on June 14, 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas.{linefeed}
Joy Beth Cunningham was born on February 22, 1953 in Altus, Oklahoma to Winfred Eugene and Marilyn Joy (Pinson) Cunningham.{linefeed}
She is survived by one sister: Jana Kim Loss of Dallas; one brother, Kyle Cunningham of Frederick; and her aunt Sharon Pinson Johns of Tipton.{linefeed}
She was preceded in death by her parents Gene and Joy Cunningham and her grandparents, Lowery and Abbie Pinson and Winfred and Essie Cunningham.{linefeed}

Graveside service for Tommie L. “Jack” McDowell, age 84, of Frederick was held February 22, 2012 at Frederick Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Les Banks officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. McDowell passed away on Monday morning, February 20, 2012 at Ayers Nursing Home in Snyder.{linefeed}
Tommie Louis “Jack” McDowell was born on November 27, 1927 in Grandfield, Oklahoma to William Patrick and Panne Mae (Pritchett) McDowell. He attended Grandfield Public Schools. Later he attended Okmulgee Tech and graduated in 1962 as an automotive mechanic. He was united in marriage to Illa Arlene Weathers on December 8, 1953 in Vernon, Texas. She preceded him in death on July 26, 2001. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Frederick.{linefeed}
He is survived by three sons: Larry McDowell of Oklahoma City, Grady McDowell of Dill City and Joe McDowell of Frederick; three daughters Phyllis Neasbitt and her husband A. J. of Durant, Sandra Whitehead and her husband Paul of Marlow, and Brenda Smith and her husband Lavern of Durant; one brother George McDowell of San Diego, California; eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.{linefeed}
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a twin sister: Johnnie Lou McDowell, four other sisters: Effie Sherman, Beulah Polk, Louise Chambers and Princess Townsend; two brothers: Buster and Arthur McDowell; and two grandsons.{linefeed}

Funeral service for Ralph Winford “Fudd” Sherrill, age 76, of Frederick, Oklahoma, was held February 18, 2012, at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, 1920 N. 15th, Frederick, Oklahoma, with Rev. Johnny Flores, youth minister, officiating.{linefeed}
Mr. Sherrill passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012, in a Wichita Falls, TX hospice facility. Burial was at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.{linefeed}
He was born December 4, 1935, to Ralph William and Veldima (Green) Sherrill, in Vinson, Oklahoma. He attended schools in Vinson and Carl. He attended college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He married Pauline Martin on November 8, 1958, in Wellington, Texas. She preceded him in death on May 26, 2003. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a draftsman. He later moved to Childress, Texas. He and his wife owned and operated a feed store. He lived in Big Spring, Texas briefly before moving to Frederick in 1984. He was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. He loved watching western movies and football, especially the Oklahoma Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys.{linefeed}
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Pauline; one son: Winford Sherrill in 1978; one brother: R. L. Sherrill; and one grandson: Keith Hoover in 2001.{linefeed}
He is survived by one son: Terry Sherrill, of Frederick; two daughters: Tammy Hoover and husband Bruce, of Iowa Park, Texas, and Cindy Nelms and Stephen, of Frederick; two brothers: Gerald Sherrill and R. W. “Dubb” Sherrill, both of Vinson, OK; five sisters: Ruth, of California, Joyce Cross, of Littlefield, TX, Melva Thompson, of Anadarko, Patricia West and Earlene Pierce, both of Dallas; 11 grandchildren: Chase, Courtney, Kevin, Krysha, Shawn, D.D., Stephen, Scott, Brandi, Christina and Michael; 21 great grandchildren: Mercede, Gavin, Maggie, Rylan, Kane, Phillip, Tristen, Matt, one on the way, Kinli Faith, Alyssa, Autumn, Ashton, Carson, Caleb, Cylynn, Matt, Shalyn, Kelly, Gavin, Junior, Blayze, and Karagyn.{linefeed}

Funeral service for Jean Wolfe, age 86, of Frederick was held February 20, 2012 at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with David Ridenour officiating. Burial followed in the Davidson Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Wolfe passed away on Friday evening, February 17, 2012 at a Lawton hospital.{linefeed}
Mrs. Wolfe worked at First State Bank of Davidson, retiring as senior vice-president and cashier after 24 years.{linefeed}
Survivors include husband, Buddy of the home; one son, Jim Wolfe of Oklahoma City; one grandson; one sister, Sue Brimberry of Austin, Texas; and one brother, Glen Boyd of Searcy, Ark.{linefeed}
