With exception of usage of LPG and natural gas grills are permitted provided that the activity is conducted over a non-flammable surface and at least five feet from flammable vegetation is the only exception to this ban. The Tillman County Sheriff and City Police will be on the lookout for those who are not following the ban. The resolution was set in place following the meeting and will remain in effect for a period not to exceed thirty days from the day of passage by the Board of County Commissioners. If extreme fire danger conditions persist, subsequent resolutions will be passed and the Burn Ban will remain in effect until canceled by action of this Board by resolution.
