An exhibit highlighting the 50th Anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act is scheduled to be on display March 4 at the Lois Long Center, 115 S. A free ACT test is planned for all 11th-graders at 8 a.m March 21 at the Great Plains Technology Center at 2001 E. Gladstone Ave. in Frederick. A Mexican Food fundraiser is scheduled from 5-7 p.m March 23 at the First United Methodist Church, 301 E. Grand Ave. in Frederick, to help benefit the Southwest Oklahoma Sports Association. Cost is $10 per plate for adults and $5 per plate for children eight and younger for a meal including enchiladas, beans, rice, chips, salsa and homemade desserts. The proceeds are designated to help repair the baseball and softball fields.
