Veteran Student Academic Services at Oklahoma State University has scheduled the second annual Women Veterans Symposium for 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. March 9, in the Wes Watkins Center, N. A Mexican Food fundraiser is scheduled from 5-7 p.m March 23 at the First United Methodist Church, 301 E. Grand Ave. in Frederick, to help benefit the Southwest Oklahoma Sports Association. Cost is $10 per plate for adults and $5 per plate for children eight and younger for a meal including enchiladas, beans, rice, chips, salsa and homemade desserts.
