Lady Bomber junior second basemen Brittany Blackford has been named the Subway Player of the Week for the opening week of the season. At the plate, Blackford batted .600 while scoring seven runs and stealing six bases to help the Lady Bombers get off to a 3-1 start. The Lady Bombers would like to thank Subway and Jim Ard for sponsoring the Player of the Week.
